Imagine's Beend Banoonga Ghodi Chadungaa gets a promising cast..

If all goes well, Nausheen the face of Balaji Telefilms' Kkusum will be seen playing a significant character in Imagine's new show 'Beend Banoonga Ghodi Chadungaa'.

The show is to be produced by Endemol India and noted Writer Farhan. S. Beend Banoonga… will be a male centric show wherein the story will revolve around a guy whose character is loosely based on Govinda's in the movie Raja Babu.

Our source states, "This complete family drama will have well-etched characters with no negative shades in them".

Apart from Nausheen, the show will see some prominent faces like Ragesh Asthana, Himani Shivpuri, Akshay Anand, Madhav Deochake, Neha Mehta. Anuj Thakur who is presently seen in Star Plus' Kaali Ek Agnipareeksha will play the lead in the show. A new face Jayshree has been roped in as the female lead. Ankit Arora will play the parallel lead.

"Ragesh Asthana and Nausheen play the male lead's parents, while Akshay Anand is the boy's uncle. Madhav and Neha Mehta play a couple, with Madhav being the elder brother of the boy", adds our source.

When contacted, Nausheen told us, "Talks are on, and I am certainly getting back to television. But I am not yet clear with the show I am taking, as I have two projects in hand".

Madhav who played the lead in Hamari Devrani confirmed the news, but refused to divulge any information.

When contacted, Neha Mehta said, "Yes I am back to television. I was away from the limelight after my marriage. Now that I have completed a full year of honeymoon, it is certainly time to work (smiles)".

Ankit Arora who completes a hat trick with Imagine with this show was unavailable. His last two shows on the channel were Ramayan and Jyoti.

We tried calling Anuj Thakur, but we could not get thro' to him..

We tried contacting Saurabh Tewari, Head of Programming - Fiction, Imagine TV but he remained unavailable.

The shoot for the show starts from today, and the unit will be leaving to Jaipur for their first outdoor shoot very soon. Beend Banoonga Ghodi Chadungaa is expected to launch in mid March at a prime time slot.
