Star Plus' Maykee Se Bandhi Dor goes through a revamp after seeing consistent low ratings...

As we know, Star Plus' Maykee Se Bandhi Dor produced by UTV is remake of the popular Tamil show Kolangal. Though Kolangal was a smashing hit down the South, the concept failed to capture the eyeballs here with its Hindi version.

Following the low ratings, the channel and the Production House have decided to revamp the concept.

A source states, "As per the change the Production has decided that the show will have a makeover. As a part of the revise, the whole creative team has been changed, and now they are working on the new look of the show with an improvisation in the looks of the characters as well. The team is also planning to deviate from the original track in order to get a better response from audience."

If sources are to be believed, the show has got a notice period of two months from the channel.

Let's see if the revamp helps the show to garner good ratings...

i just don't get it, star plus and star one are ending good shows like gulaal, geet, and etc and give chances to this crap of a show, go ahead sp and so, brilliant strategy.

being a rohit fan i had lots of expectations from MSBD ...i liked its storyline too..but the show became too boring to me with the same old dramas...hope after revamp the show would be interesting...if no then its better to close it

It is the most realistic show on the channel...It might be a bull-shit show for those who enjoy watching eternal love stories and shows with lavishness...Sadly this show doesn't have those...This show depicts how many difficulties middle-class people face...Life is not bed of roses...

LOL..this show does not deserve a chance, but still they get it. but tere liye had much higher TRP, and they didn't let them run the show for a year! not fair at all!
