A trip down the memory lane - Reshmi Ghosh

Reshmi Ghosh is the winner of Femina Miss India Earth Pageant, and also an established television actor. She is well known by the character of Bhoomi from Ekta Kapoor's famous Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.

Getting candid about her life, she walked down the memory lane and said "In my 12 years journey in this industry I have changed a lot, not in my thinking's or as a person but definitely when I talk in context to confidence!"

Elaborating more, she told us that "When I look back to 2001, I was a small town girl from Kolkata who was very shy, reserved and not very confident at all! I was influenced by the Femina world and just dreamt of being a model but had never imagined that in future i could end up being one! Whenever the song of Femina Miss India used to be play on TV, I just used to get up and start enacting the walk, talk and actions of Models in Femina Miss India show, especially Sushmita Sen- She has been my role model and I adore her. I love this gorgeous lady and respect her in all ways".

She further added "It all started when my friends forced me to get into modeling as I am very tall and had good features needed for a model, but I never it a serious thought ! But as time changed, so did my thinking and I decided to give it a shot. I decided to trust what people think about me. My friend who worked in an AD agency introduced me to this modeling world, and from there I walked the first step of my career! And all this while during the struggle period, my parents have been strong pillars of support all my life, and I owe it all to them!"

She also added "I always maintain believe in yourself and it always pay - it did for me and I was crowned with- Femina Miss India Earth Pagent 2002! That moment of pride when I was crowned is just inexpressible, joy and happiness was just at its highest peak! My dream translated to reality!

She finally told us that "Looking at me today, where I have done many daily soaps in the telly entertainment field and have acted in 6 movies in Kolkata, my journey has made me very confident about what I do. It has taught me a lot in my life! It makes me feel proud when I look back at my journey of life as a model and an actor".
