Thumbs Up and Thumbs Down: 9th-15th July

 Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki: This week the show rocked as the truth regarding Suyesh was revealed by Narayni to Parvati. Saksi Tanwar gave a mind-blowing performance as her anger, hatred, & revenge towards Suyesh in the start turned into shock & repentance in the end when it was revealed that he was always protecting her.  Indian Idol - First Idol Abhijeet Sawant comes on stage and gives advice to all the budding singers. Some fun competition between Parleen and Ankita for "Best Performer" and Parleen wins!! Gala Round is sure to be a huge treat!  Banoo Mai Teri Dulhan: Shambhunath finally gave some courage to Vidya who opened her mouth and make Sagar believe that she is his wife. Sagar seems to have some flashback memories of her. Viewers are waiting with bated breathe to know when will Sagar-Vidya unite.  Meri Awaaz Ko Mil Gaye Roshini: This serial is promising as there will be new twist and turns. Both Sudha and Ria wants to attain a place for themselves in the music industry but the problem is rich brat Ria cannot sing to save her life. We shall surely witness the cat fight with Raj at fix.  Karam Apna Apna: The serial seems to be getting back in its track with Gauri finally fighting against Ipshita for her wrong doings. Well, Gauri if you would have kept your eyes and ear open earlier vamp like Ipshita and Maya would not have wreck your house. Better late than never though!  Saarthi: A brother kills his brother for no reason. Wife wants to take revenge against the murderer of her husband. Family asks her to forgive and forget. The wife refuses to do so bear the wrath of the family. Saarthi which is based on Mahabharata is supporting Dhoryodhan’s act against Arjun. Well that’s what we call a modern Kurukshethra where evil wins over good.  Viruddh: Vasudha is becoming too head strong and is making mistakes and hurting her loved ones around. The serial although different is somehow going haywire. Viewers are missing Sushant in action. Well Miss Irani we know you are a good actress but you cannot keep the serial moving according to your own whims and fancy.  Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007: Even though Mauli is unable to give power packed performance once again but her mentor is still supporting her. Instead of guiding and correcting her, Bappi Da is siding with her. A flying bee has told us that directors of the show are shooting for two episodes simultaneously which goes on till early morning hour. Is this one of the reason for poor performance by the participants?  Mamta: Too much confusion is happening in Mamta with love triangles. Akshay-Mamta-Sid still on the love triangle issue. Mira likes Krishna but hates Mimi who likes Krishna but Krishna likes Sanjana sister of Mira while Abhishek likes Mira teams up with Tanisha.. Gosh did I make sense??  Biggest Looser Jeetega: This show had potential to turn things around for Sahara Channel but due to lack of publicity and spice it has hardly managed to catch the attention of viewers. The reality shows based on singing talent hunt seems to ride high on TRP’s and publicity. Well, next year we might see Sahara singing as well.
