'Work in my passion' - Naman Shaw

The eligible bachelor in town, Naman Shaw talks about his passion, his dreams and ways of relaxation...

What are you passionate about?
I am very passionate about making life the best. I am here in Mumbai to make money and I am striving hard to achieve my goals. So you can say work is my passion!

In such a hectic schedule when you hardly get time for yourself, how do you motivate yourself?
My dream and vision for the future keep me going! I need to buy a house of my own and to make a mark for myself in the industry, I need to work hard and these desires motivate me.

What's your idea of relaxation?
My idea of relaxation is to run out of Mumbai, go to some nice place and spend my break time. Any place out of the busy and hustling Mumbai is fine for me. I would love to go to London on one such break.

What are your hobbies?
Well, I really do not have time for anything else now, other than making money(laughs).

What do you usually do to relax after a hard day's shooting schedule?
I just go home, switch on my AC and go to sleep. After a day’s work, I can’t do anything other than this (grins).

Do you see exercising as a good stress buster?
Yes, I do believe in working out, but now, I am not able to do much as I suffered a muscle fracture recently.

Do you think eating good eases you out of exhaustion?
Yes, eating nutritious food and eating at the right time does help a lot. But it is an unfortunate thing that I cannot eat nutritious food as I have to eat outside food day in and day out. But I am trying my level best to choose the right food to eat.

What do you consider your biggest stress buster?
I love to be with friends and get a smile back on my face when I am with them. I enjoy playing cricket, and now I make it a point to squeeze in time to play the game.

What do you do in your leisure time?
As I said, I spend time with friends or else, sit and watch TV. I love to watch one show on VHI named ‘Fabulous Life of Millionaires’ in which they show the lifestyle of rich people.

How important to you is spirituality, your family and your professional identity?
I believe in God, but I don’t get time to visit temples regularly. As regards family, they are the utmost priority in my life. Ours is a big joint family, so every single member there is very close to my heart. I am working to build up my own professional identity in this industry.
