Celebrating Holi on K for Kishore

Holi Hai!!!!The festival of colors is here and the festive mood is reflected in the song and dance on K for Kishore this week. Join in the fun and enjoy boisterous session of Kishore Kumar's songs and spirit of the festival of colors.

All the contestants along with the hosts Babul Supriyo and Rajeshwari give the episode a high-energy start complete with song, dance and Holi colors. Guest singers Bapi and Tutul, who have sung the popular song Duniya ut patanga… from Khosla Ka Ghosla, set the tone for the rest of the evening along with some popular Holi numbers. Even director Nagesh Kukunoor got into the mood and sang his favorite Holi song…. Holi ke din…

There was more excitement and a new twist to K for Kishore this week. Indian Idol contestants of season I and II Antara Mitra, Aditi Paul and Neha accompanied the singers as they belted out popular Kishore Kumar numbers with the Holi flavour. This week every contestant sings two numbers each and has Nagesh Kukunoor attributing special colours to each of the singers. Chetan Rana impressed the judges with Holi ke din… and Holi mein ude re gulal… along with Antara.

Milind Ingle had the sprightly Neha for company as they sang Aao jhoomein gayein… He brought in the local Marathi flavor by singing Rang khelu chala… from the Marathi film Saamna and he simply excelled in it. Neha even convinced Nagesh to shake a leg with her! K. Shailendra and Aditi Paul delighted all with Holi aye re… and Abke biraj mein… If Milind played the Marathi card then Nayan Kumar Rathod brought in Holi in true Gujarati style with a folk song Sona na kagdi re… The episode ends with more singing, dancing and colour ever seen on a singing show.
