Prerna Wanvari aka Raveena of Colors' Parichay Nayee Zindagi Kay Sapno Ka is delighted to have gotten an opportunity to be a presenter at the International Emmy Awards Gala on 19^thNovember in New York, a platform where some of the world's finest producers, directors, and actors are recognized. Prerna left for the event today and we got a chance to spoke to her just before she flew for New York.

You are going for International Emmies to represent Indian television. How do you feel?

I am not representing Indian Television. However I am going as a television Actor from India. I am very fortunate and feel honoured.

What are the preparations you did for this grand event? How many days you will stay there?

I am staying in New York for 9 days. Preparations have been going on in terms of clothes etc. I am wearing a gown designed by Karishma Acharya and my wardrobe has been completely designed by her. For another event in New York, I will most probably wear an Indian dress from KIMAYA the details of which I will confirm soon. My wardrobe courtesy is Pradeep Hirani.

Have you thought about what will you speak on stage while giving the award?

Well, I will say that I feel fortunate, blessed and honoured to be amidst such talented, established and happy people.

What's going on the acting front?

I will be seen on Parichay for the first time after the leap this December. I am acting in a play directed by Preetika Chawla, 'Shahrukh Bola Khubsurat Hai Tu' fame and a theatre personality. The play is adapted from the book, 'The Pregnant King', by Devdutt Pattanaik.

You represent the new age young actress brigade at the Emmies as you are just 21. Comment.

Wow, I like the way you put that. I cant express how fortunate and blessed I feel about that.

Have you ever attended Emmies in the past?

No..And they are the International Emmies.

i juz hated the character of raveena..the most even more than richa at one time..coz she insulted bro-sis relation...
i never liked her...bt when she came to knw abt rohit's true color's hatred became little less...
I was never bored by her screen space coz prerna did a goood job...bt some cant tolerate raveena..
i wont mind raveena n vikram coming back..unless she dont take kunal's screen space from him..show him instead of diwans...

Atleast she is better than diwan's..
