What are you busy with these days?

I am giving auditions and meeting people for new projects. Nothing has been finalized yet.

What are your plans to come back on TV?

I would like to play a role which I would like instantly in the first narration. If I don't feel like doing it at that time then I will not do it at all. I always stick to that rule. I have met people for some shows but they didn't impress me that much.

What kind of offers are you getting?

I am getting similar offers which are currently running on television. Lot of experiment does not happen on TV as it's not generally successful also on TV. People stick to the basic rules.

You used to share a great bond with Shrenu Parikh. Are you in touch with her?

I have always maintained a very cordial relationship with all my co-actors; not only the leads but with the entire cast. I am in touch with Shrenu and she is going to come back on television very soon. I wish her all the best. I used to keep telling her that she will be the first one who will get a big break on television after Byaah Hamari Bahu Ka. Now, she laughs about it and tells me that I was right.

I have earlier said this in one of my interviews for India Forums that she will be the first one to get work after this show. Whatever I have told my co-actors, it has happened almost 80-85% of the time. I know I am generally right. I told this to Yami too, 'You are made for films' and she is doing so well in films. I also remember telling Karan Tacker that he will do well on television.  

Did you attend Arjun Bijlani's wedding?

No, I couldn't attend the wedding but I just made it to his reception. I was in Goa with my family and I reached late due to the delay in flight. I missed his wedding but I attended his reception for few hours. It was good.

I had made plans for the trip to Goa with family few months earlier during the time of the wedding. I wanted to be there at both the places. It was a good trip to Goa with my family as my sister had come to Mumbai for the first time and we went to Goa along with her kids. I attended the reception as I had promised Arjun and I met most of my friends from the industry even it was for a short time.

What are your wishes for Arjun and Neha?

They are a very friendly and good looking couple. They know each other for a long time. They look like a couple who are meant to be together. I keep on telling Arjun that, 'Both of you are lucky to find each other.' My best wishes are always with them. Arjun needed an anchor in life and I think Neha is the perfect one. Sky is the limit for this cute couple.

When are you going to find your anchor in life?

I haven't found the anchor of my life as yet and I really don't know where my ship is. My friends keep on asking me this and I really don't know how to answer them. For me it's exactly like picking up a new show… if a girl can impress me in the first 5 minutes then I will be hers.

What are the qualities you want in a girl which can impress you easily?

I really don't know what kind of qualities I am looking for. If I would have known that then I would have had someone in my life. I will make sure that I will be very comfortable with her in the long run. We have to be careful while choosing our life partner in life. I wasn't ready for this earlier but now I am starting to look for the girl who will be able to impress me easily in the first 5 minutes. This is the only quality I am looking for. It's short and simple.

Fans are waiting to see you back on television. Any message for them?

I too am waiting for my fans to see me back again. I also want to start working now because I don't like sitting at home. I will start working again only if the work interests me. I know my fans are missing me and I am missing them too. I want to work harder so that my work should speak for itself. I hope that I will get something nice and I can do justice to it and make my fans happy. I am happy that my fans are with me even if I am not working. I know it's hard to reply to all of them but all I want to say to them is that I read their posts on India Forums and be assured that I have read all that you have written for me on India Forums and have understood what they want to convey. I feel very happy to see that.
