"I am very happy that my dance class is doing well"

The gorgeous actress Sneha Kapoor who entertained the audience with her acting skill in Palki's popular dance based show Dil Dostii Dance on Channel V, is running a dance class and seems to be very happy with it. On the same TellyBuzz got in a candid conversation with her.

Sneha Kapoor Institute is doing really well, so tell us something about the journey so far?

It has been long 8 months that I have opened up my dance class named SKI (Sneha Kapoor Institute), I am very much thankful to my fans who have contributed in making my dance class successful. The first two months when I started the dance class it had my fan following crowd and now it has all the general population. Dance is absolutely a stress buster. What makes me happier is that even the professors from school and college spare some time from their hectic schedule and come to learn the dance.

Well, I just don't teach any particular dance style but I try to cover all the dance forms which I can. But that does not mean that the quality of dance decreases as I try to cover as many dance forms as possible. Our motto is to firstly look at the quality of dance that we are teaching along with the various forms. By far people have appreciated our work and hope it continues to be the same too.

I am very happy that my dance class is doing well. All I wish for more is that it grows more. I have a main branch of my dance class SKI in Kandivali also we do workshops in Town and Kandivali. Soon my branch in Vile Parle will start too. Furthermore I wish to start my classes in other areas too.

Dance is divine. Dancing for me is closely connected to the soul. The liberation of soul makes me feel happy, stay positive and fresh. When I dance then it not necessarily mean that I am supposed to dance in front of the crowd, I like to put on some music and dance my heart out when I am sitting in a room too.

It is a great feeling to judge a dance show. Also it is a treat to see the engineering students performing as they are the ones who don't even have time to look for anything else except their studies and in a week's performance they did so well. My respect for dancing has gone to another level after seeing the performances in colleges by the students.

Hope people do spare some time from their schedule and practice dancing. It is not necessary to learn dance professionally it helps the body, mind and soul to relax and also keeps you fit.

Would you like to be a part of any reality dancing show?

To be honest, I have not thought of being a contestant in any reality dancing show at the moment because I am very much occupied with my classes. There is no time to do anything in between, but maybe in future when my team is big enough and if I have some time then I might take up the reality dance offers if they come my way.

Well, I do not follow any dance reality show but yes I have seen a couple of episodes of Jhalak Dikhla Jaa Season 6 on You-Tube. I find that show very interesting and those cute kids Sonali and Sumant are just amazing dancers. Even Drashti Dhami and Mukti Mohan are doing really good.

I miss the people with whom I have worked with in the show very much. We had bonded very well with each other on the set. We are still connected through the electronic medium namely the mobile phone and social networking sites. When we are free we plan to meet up too.

Any plans of getting into acting again?

No plans as of now as I am enjoying dancing.
