"I maintain a safe distance when I essay a negative character" - Manish Wadhwa

He might be playing an antagonist in Sphere Origins' Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon...Ek Baar Phir on Star Plus as Niranjan however, in real life Manish Wadhwa is sober and thanks his fans for loving his character.

Here is Manish talking about his character in detail -

Manish has been receiving an overwhelming response from the fans for his portrayal. When asked the actor about the same he says,  "I am very grateful to my fans that they have always accepted me in all characters. The reason of getting appreciation for my character are fans, earlier they have liked me as a hero now they are liking me in a negative character. I was not sure before taking up this project but the character shaped well and has created a new name in the television industry."

Has a negative character affected him personally? Manish says, "No, not at all, we actors live two life at a time. When I am on the sets I behave like Niranjan otherwise I am myself. When I was doing Chanakya it affected me as even I started giving a piece of advice. I am influenced when I do a positive character but I maintain a safe distance when I essay a negative character and  I hope  Niranjan kisi ke andar na aye."

When asked Manish about his equation with his co-stars, he answers, "Its been good. They all are very nice and I sometimes feel that sab safed hai aur unme se mai he eek kala lagta hu."

Manish who is a very good friend of actor Sooraj Thapar, recently joined him for the naming ceremony of his son. When asked Manish about the occasion he avers, "It's a very big occasion. I am very happy for Sooraj Thapar and I am congratulate him. We are good friends since Chandragupta Maurya and I hope next year again we meet up with some good news (laughs)".
