Talented kid Akshat Singh who got recognition on TV through a talent based show India's Got Talent on Colors has gained immense popularity over the period of time. After exploring his talent, this little boy entered Jhalak's race to showcase his dancing skills. Akshat who was immensely appreciated by the judges of Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa Season 7 for his flawless dancing skills unfortunately couldn't make it to the finale as he has been eliminated.

In conversation with TellyBuzz, Akshat talks about his journey being on the show, toughest contender and more...

Here is Akshat talking about the same -

How has your journey been in the show Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa Season 7 so far?

My journey was very good, I enjoyed a lot. I have learned so much from this show and am really happy that I accomplished my goal of entertaining my audiences by giving best performances. I scored perfect marks for my most of the performance and so I am really satisfied.

Who was your favorite contestant and who was the toughest contestant?

Kiku Sharda sir was my favorite contestant and my toughest contestant was no one I was my competitor itself. I used to challenge myself that this week I have scored 30 so I will have to score 30 again. I am the only contestant who has received the highest scores in Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa Season 7 and got the first dancing shoes.

You couldn't make it to finale in spite of giving consistent performance, so do have any regret?

No I don't have any regret because main tension leta nai sirf tension deta hu. Everybody was tensed that what if you get eliminated? But I was keeping calm and was never worried about what will happened next. I was only bothered about giving my best. I scored perfect and made a hat trick of getting perfect scores.

We have seen you acting in a reality show and now we have also seen you dancing as well. So are you planning to do films or television shows?

Yes I really want to do a film with Salman Khan if I get a chance. If Salaman bhai calls me in his upcoming show Bigg Boss then I will definitely go and there audience will see bada Bigg boss with chota Bigg boss.

What do you have to say about the judges? Who is your favorite judge?

All the judges we superb and like Mudhuri Dixit Nene ma'am says, all the judges were 'Perfect'. My favorite judge was Karan Johar sir because he is very nice and he used to make us laugh. Madhuri man and Remo Dsouza sir are also nice as they are very good dancers and all the judges used to love us.

What will you miss the most in Jhalak Dikhhlaa Jaa Season 7?

I will miss all my judges and all the contestants, all the kids who voted me and gave so much love which brought me so far. I will miss Vaishnavi di the most and my choreographers who taught me so much. I will also miss Manish sir, Ranvir sir also who have made us laugh all the time.

I don't think it was fair to have a child compete with adults. He should never have been in the show.

Dear addictedlve,

That's just my point. He's too young to be in a show with adults.
It was wrong of colors to pitch him against all the grow ups because most decisions involving him were made on emotions. There's no doubt that he can dance, but personally I don't think jhalak was the place for him. Shakti was also emotional. I'm sure she didn't like to compete against a child like that.

Its sad that how ppl r treating n comment. After all he us a innocent child. I m a shakti fan n I was crying when remo hugged him. This is channel fault that y they chose him.. This was NT akshat mistake. He was called in Ellen show n other shows.. So be sportive instead of bashing an innocent child.even madhuri got emotional coz if u think from child it's really emotional stage.. Next time colors should not take kids..

Because you're a kid, kiddo, and because of your previous relationship with colors. You dance well. Yes. But you didn't belong there, dancing with the adults. No fault of your's, but you should have gone a long time back.
