Jayshree Soni portrays the girl of today, Niyati Sharma in Sahara One's new show, Rishton Ki Bhanwar Mein Uljhe Niyati..

Here is Jayshree in conversation with TellyBuzz...

Can you tell us about your character in Niyati and the concept of the show?
Niyati is a girl of today and she takes care of the family like a son. After her marriage she will be in a situation where she has to decide between her family and the in-laws.  Niyati is a girl who has her own responsibilities towards her family and she believes to continue with them, even after her marriage. But after the marriage her in-laws are not in favour of this belief. They are of the mindset that after marriage the girl is supposed to work and earn for the in-laws and she is allowed to keep the emotional bonding with the family.

How can you relate yourself to Niyati?
Niyati is similar to Jayshree in real and the character has been kept real. Niyati has been loved and pampered by her family and the family background is completely middle class where she goes to the office and leads a normal life. The scenes could be easily connected with real life as the instances are very natural. I could also relate the story with my family as I too have sisters in my family who are married. They do have the emotional attachment with the family but at the same time they have their own set of responsibilities and chores for which we cannot blame them.

How has been the rapport with Sahara One?
I have not yet got much time for interaction with the channel and the show has just gone on air. The production team is really good and I really have a nice time with all of them. Since the production team is really happy with the work so far, I guess the channel will also be feeling the same manner.

How has been the experience with the costars of the show?
All the senior artistes are very nice and cooperative; as of now I have not got a chance to work with the others as my marriage has not yet taken place. But so far the experience has been good.

What do you think is the USP of the show?
This is not a typical Saas Bahu serial where the viewers can see the normal fight and the tantrums in the house, but a show where there is a logical reasoning for all the instances in the show.

You are working with Creative Eye for the first time; how has been the experience?
I am working with the production house for the first time and I am having a good experience with them. Dheeraj Kumar is like father to me and I have a good rapport with the director too.

The show has already gone on air, how do you feel?
I just hope the response to be good because the show has got a good time slot of 9 pm.In my three years in the industry I could really see myself improve as an actor. I had got a good base as an actor where I could develop my acting skills. But then eventually it all depends on the point of view of the people.

What are your expectations from the show?
I just hope that people love the character and the show and I just wish, when people watch the show, they love the character and give their blessings.

Your look in Niyati looks similar to your previous show Ganga.
There are differences in the looks because Ganga used to wear full sleeve cotton salwars and in Niyati, the appearance is quite different. There is a difference in the attitude too. Ganga was a girl who has always been secluded from the outside world and on terms of her husband. Whereas Niyati is a girl of today who speaks her heart and looks after her family like the family's son. Niyati is logical in character but Ganga is a girl who we find difficult to find it nowadays.

A message that you would like to convey to the audience?
I would just like to say that even after marriage, continue being a responsible daughter. The emotional attachment is sure to be there among the family after marriage, but it is necessary to continue serving them too.
