The Group Performance:

In this weeks episode we will see Bappi da singing "ek lo ek muft" from 'Guru' He will be then joined by Ashaji who sings "raat baaki" from 'Namak Halal'. After this scintillating performance by the doyen of Hindi Film music we will also get to hear Vishal and Shekhar who are going to sing "Mumbai nagariya' from 'taxi no. 9211'. If you are thinking this is the end to the performance by the celebrities, then you are wrong. Harpreet fans good news for you all. Saturday episode will start with the song "maahi ve" (kal ho na ho) sung by Aditya, Harpreet & Poonam.



Here is a good news for all Aditya’s fans who were disappointed for the reason that Ashaji did not fulfill the request of Aditya. She will be singing a beautiful Nepali song for Aditya when he welcomes her. Aditya is touched and he requests Ashaji to sing the song "yaee re yaee re" from the movie 'Rangeela' which he had sung with her when he was a kid. Aditya starts blushing when Ashaji comments on his cute face & good looks. However, we are still unaware, if she fulfilled the request of Aditya – which we might know only after watching the episode. Hope she does it soon, atleast for the fans of Aditya who are eagerly waiting for him to sing along with Ashaji.

Now, for the performance by contestants of the Gharanas:

Atlast the suspense breaks as this episode is going to answer the question of – What is the role of Eklavya Gharana in this series?

Here we get to see the performance by few contestants of Eklavya Gharana who get selected by the Gharana mentors. The first one who gets selected by a Mentor is Anita Bhat and guess who selects her – Its none other than Himesh for the song "crazy kiya re" rendered by her on stage. She is followed by Sumana Ganguly who sings "mohe ghar aayi" and this song reminds Ashaji of Kalyanji. Bappida welcomes Sumana to his gharana. The Next one to leave the Eklavya Gharana is Brijesh who is selected by Ismailji for his Yalgaar gharana. What happens to the other contestants – well, lets not spoil all the suspense.

This week we will also get to see Ismailji taunting Himesh when he selects Tushar as he is from Assam, reminding him about the Debojit episode & the consequent votes which came in his favour. To this Vishal & Shekhar say that voting shouldn't be region or nation biased. Only they will support the best of the lot. To this Ashaji in her own fanciful way said that "Its really miraculous that these 4 mentors are sharing the same platform today". Ismailji retorts saying that its just because of her that they have somehow maintained their dignity otherwise everyone would have seen their true colours. Looks to be quite a masala episode again this weekend.
