Manav Shweta's baby Zahra turns one!

Even as Manav Gohil who is seen in The Buddy Project Season 2 - Now in College, is busy today putting up balloons for the small get-together, Shweta Kawatra the glam actress is busy these days being a yummy-mummy to her baby daughter Zahra. It was on this day last year at 2:30 pm that she had the angel of her eyes in her arms for the first time. As she remembers that day, Shweta says, "Time has flied so fast… my tiny bundle is now one year old. I still remember last year on 11^th May Zahra was born after a grueling 36 hours of labor and I was crazy with all the pain but I was adamant on having a normal delivery and so I put on the struggle"

Talking about her first look at Zahra, Shweta says, "I remember the moment she was given to me I connected with her instantly. However, she would not open her eyes as she was uncomfortable with the lights and the new surroundings."

All through her nine months of pregnancy Shweta stayed connected to her baby by talking to her, "I spoke to her throughout the nine months and would tell her about everything that is happening outside. I had also told her that I would have a normal delivery and that she will have to help mom in it."

Today is Zahra's first birthday and even though Manav and Shweta are excited as parents they have decided to have a quiet tea party for couple of Zahra's friends with their moms and 5-6 of their own friends, "We didn't want a grand celebration for Zahra's first birthday as babies at this age hardly understand what is going on around and at the end of the day are exhausted. We will have a proper birthday party for her when she is aware of what it all means. This is just so that we have memories of her first birthday with pictures of the occasion and the cake cutting" says Shweta.

Shweta who is well-known for her roles in Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, Kkusum, Adaalat amongst others says she does miss the limelight but is not eager to come back soon, "Offers for Television shows are still coming in but there is no motivation for me to take up just any other offer just for the sake of money. I would want to have creative satisfaction too since this is a creative job. I have just shot for a commercial for Tata Salt which will come on air soon and I have decided to concentrate more on ad films and Hindi films."

Her inner talent came to fore recently when she did the interiors of TV actor Ratan Rajput's house. "Yes, I did the entire interiors for Ratan's house and I am not very sure but I feel that I may have a career opportunity as a professional interior designer too."

Before Zahra's birth both Manav and Shweta were enthusiastic travelers and sometimes Shweta would take off alone too on holidays, "Nothing has changed even now after Zahra's birth. In fact in the past one year we have taken Zahra along with us wherever we have gone. She has so far taken 15 flights already. Apart from the regular domestic flights, Zahra has gone with us to Australia and Kenya. This year too we are planning to go to New Zealand, Canada and may be France too."

While traveling the couple makes sure all of Zahra's needs are fulfilled, "We carry her medicines, food stock, a stroller, carrier and stuff so that she can lie down and take her naps whenever she needs to. Wherever we go we take an apartment with a kitchen so that I can make food for her and carry it with us. We would leave the apartment for sight-seeing at around 11 in the morning and then come back only by 12 mid-night and Zahra would be with us. Sometimes sleeping, sometimes wide awake but I am sure enjoying every minute of it."
