Lots of love and a cake facial for Manish!

It was a fun filled celebration on the sets of Colors 'Sasural Simar Ka' yesterday for birthday boy Manish Raisinghani. The actor, who is portraying a character named Siddhant in the show, turned a year older yesterday. Even as he had a hectic working birthday due to his shoot the entire cast and crew on the sets guaranteed him a gala time.

His co-actress Shweta Sinha aka Pari told us, "Manish always takes care of each and everyone's choices on the sets. He always does some masti on everyone's birthday. I prepared Pani puri specially for him and bought on the sets because he loves Pani puri. This was my birthday surprise for him. He is very sweet and a lovely friend who is always helpful. I wish Manish always stays happy and his progress chart takes him to the heights and at the same time I also wish he stays the way he is - a  prankster. He is like our bada bachcha on the sets who loves to play pranks on the sets."

The entire cast and crew gathered in the evening to celebrate Manish's birthday. The birthday boy cut his birthday cake and got a cake facial even though he tried hiding. Knowing Manish's love for photography, Ssumier S Pasricha who plays Shailender in the show got a canon camera shaped cake as a surprise for him.

Sounding excited as he relieved the memories, Manish said, "The birthday celebration was very good. My day started with my cousins and friends visiting my place at night. We had a little cake war in the house and we were busy cleaning the house till 4-5 o'clock in the morning. I cut around 12 cakes yesterday. I was shooting yesterday and cut my birthday cake on the sets. My colleagues painted me with cake and I had to re-do my make-up to continue with the shoot."

Thanking all his fans for their birthday wishes, Manish said, "I would like to say a big thank you to all of them. I have received a lot of videos that they have prepared for me, the voice recordings, some of them have also sent gifts which include my picture collage, my sketches, and even flowers and cards have reached my sets. Thank you so much for showering me with so much of love and making an ordinary day an extra ordinary one for me."
