When Shahrukh Khan read Rajev Paul's book...

One such talented actor is Rajev Paul, who is also an author of the book 'Mumbai Mohabbat Aur Tanhai'. The book has been read and appreciated by many readers and celebs including Sonu Niigam, Juhi Chawla, Talat Aziz and Satish Kaushik. Interestingly, the celebs have also paid rich tributes and highly recommend this book to poetry lovers.

Adding more to the list is the king of Bollywood, actor Shahrukh Khan, who is currently reading 'Mumbai Mohabbat Aur Tanhai'. When we asked Rajev Paul, he says, "I have known Shahrukh from quite a long time now, so I just gifted him a copy of my book. At first, he was surprised to know that I've written a book of poetry. Then he asked me about its sales and how has been the response so far. He was stunned when I told him we've sold more than 20,000 copies which is huge for a poetry book in Hindi."

The actor also went on to say, "Shahrukh is an avid reader and loved Javed Sahab's Tarkash, however now he is reading the one written by me. Shahrukh loved the title of my book 'Mumbai Mohabbat Aur Tanhai' and also wished me good luck that the numbers grow further."

Happy with the response, Rajev expresses his gratitude, as he says, "I am humbled and honored by the number of people who write to me on email and Facebook. Having read so many books till date, I have written to only two of my favorite authors Paulo Cohelo and Deepak Chopra. So I'm sure people do not generally address to the writers in person. So when I come across appreciations and feedback from army officers, doctors, bankers, house-wives, college students, I feel blessed."

Though 'Mumbai Mohabbat Aur Tanhai' is a very good portrayal  of love and loneliness, actor-turned poet Rajev Paul is all geared up with his new book. "My new book will be a killer", promises the talented actor.
