"Pammi is going to end, is hard to digest" - Prasad Barve

Telly town actor Prasad Barve who was an integral member of the Fauzdaar family in Colors jovial show Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal, says it is difficult to accept the fact that the show is going to end soon.

After graduating from an intern in Dill Mill Gayye to a doctor in Colors' Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal, actor Prasad Barve has left no stones unturned to keep the audience at the edge of their seats with his ideal comic nature.

Of late, media has been buzzing about the show going off air in the coming weeks. Even though the show started with a lot of pomp and fanfare, all its efforts to sustain the charm of the story were futile.

When asked Prasad Barve about his reaction  and when he came to know about the show being pulled off-air unexpectedly, the actor shares his feelings, "I am still in a state of shock and the news that Pammi is going to end, it is hard to digest."

The actor also went on to say, "We haven't got any such official notice from the production house as yet. Whatever we have heard is through the media itself. But it is really saddening to know that the show is getting wrapped up in few weeks time. The entire unit of Pammi had bonded so well that it is no less than a family now."

When asked what could be the reason for the show to shut down, Prasad clearly said it's the time slot that caused a hindrance to the show. He says, "Being the time slot of the show at 7 PM slot, not many people could catch up with its telecast. Also, the repeat telecast was such, at 2 AM, that it is very difficult for a person to watch the show with loyalty. However, to be honest, I have got a good response from whosoever watched it on YouTube or anywhere else on the web."

On being asked about the concept of the show and its creative content, Prasad says, "According to me the concept was quite satisfying and did not lack anything. Colors being a highly reputed channel experimented with this new refreshing show. Just like Sanskaar- Dharohar Apnon Ki is making a comeback, I believe that Colors will not let go of their much loved project Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal. Let's hope that even this show makes a come-back very soon, at a better time slot."

"All in all it was a good experience being a part of Mrs. Pammi Pyarelal. Just like Gaurav Gera said in one of its interview to India-Forums that its time to move on... But it is going to be really difficult for me to move on!", concluded the actor.
