"It is great being a part of the show Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki"

Says Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar, who plays the role of Dhara in the show Sanskaar Dharohar Apnon Ki on Colors. We got in touch with the actress to share how she feels being a part of this show, working with senior actors and much more.

TellyBuzz got in touch with the young and the talented actress Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar, who plays the female lead Dhara in Swapna Waghmare's popular daily soap Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki Hai on Colors.

When we asked Tejaswi on how it is being a part of the show Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki, she sounded all excited, "It is great being a part of Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki, the storyline is really good and I am happy to be a part of this show. The co-actors and the production house are also very supportive and helpful towards me. Though I have joined this show mid-way, it doesn't feel that I am new to this show as we all have bonded really well now."

Initially there were comparison made between the character of Bhoomi (the ex-lead actress of the show) and Dhara (current lead actress of the show). When we asked her about the same Tejaswi says, "I did not have any fear as both the characters namely Bhoomi and Dhara are totally different. You cannot compare any of them. I like my character of Dhara and the shades that the role has."

Tejaswi says she was nervous to shoot with the senior actors of the show on the very first day, but now she is very much confident and comfortable shooting with the entire cast, "On the very first day I was very scared shooting my first scene, as my first scene itself was with the veteran actress Aroona Irani. It was an angry sequence being shot, which made me even more nervous, also I did not want to give lots of takes for that scene so I just went ahead and hopefully everything went really well. Now I am very much comfortable and confident to shoot with the entire cast of the show as we have bonded well now."

Tejaswi shares about her journey in this industry, "I had wished to become an actress since childhood but never knew how to walk ahead in this field of acting. I am basically an engineering student, and there was a fest in our college of which the pictures of that event were published in the newspaper. That's how I got my first break in this television industry, those pictures were liked by the Production house and they gave me a call for the audition of their show. I went ahead and got chosen for the same and there was no looking back after that."

Sanskaar... has taught her a lot she says, "Never in my life had I done acting. So I have got to learn a lot through my first show 26/12 and also getting to learn a lot through this show Sanskaar - Dharohar Apnon Ki."

Since she is a engineering student, and is still pursuing her studies we asked her how difficult it is handling studies and work. Here is what she says, "It is difficult handling my college and my work together as I don't get time to attend my college, but that doesn't mean I am going to be leaving my studies or paying less attention towards it. I managing both and by far it is all good."
