TV actor Jay Bhanushali says as a child, he always wanted to play cricket on the same pitch as Sachin Tendulkar did when he was a youngster.
"The meaning of cricket changed when Sachin entered cricket. Every child who has ever been inspired by cricket is because of Sachin Tendulkar," Jai said here on Friday at the launch of Charisma Spa.
"I remember when I was in seventh or eighth standard (in school), I used to plead with my mother to let me go and play cricket at Shivaji Park and on the same pitch on which Sachin used to play and (I used to say that I) will learn from the same coach," he added.
Jai has a lot of happy memories thanks to Sachin.
"There are a lot of memories associated with him, and he has also been a source of happiness. Whenever there was an India-Pakistan match and he used to hit sixes, it was a moment of joy. He will be missed by all," Jai added.
Sachin Tendulkar played his 200th and final Test at the Wankhede Stadium here Saturday, with India defeating the West Indies by an innings and 126 runs to claim the series 2-0. Sachin scored 74 runs Friday in the only innings India played.

i just saw it yesterday and i LOVED it!!! i wasn't impressed with ranveer from the promos but after watching the movie i am completely surprised!!! this guy has got what it takes to be actor and future superstar!! He is fab dancer and spills his own charm on the screen. anushka was brilliant too!! Their chemistry was natural!! Story wise, the plot was interesting and songs are great very well used in the story. It's a fun filled movie and u will definetly enjoy it!! my fav song is dum dum, awesome work!! If u haven't watched it, plz do!! i will give it 4 out of 5!! cheers

yeaa anushka was great but ranveer wasss soo sooooo good..easily the best debutant ive seen ever even better than ranbir and imran!! Cant get over this film!! Dialogues were so god..

awesome movie....seriously!!! loved it...Anushka was good as usual...Ranveer is the surprise package....what an actor!!!! he is definitely someone to watch out for....i am sure he will go a long way!!!!!

Watched the movie over the weekend .. and LOVED it! Its one of those movies that you hardly have any expectations from .. and it completely takes you by surprise! Ranveer was awesome .. seriously, for a newcomer, the guy was TERRIFIC! As was Anushka .. brilliant performance! Both together were like a house on fire! Songs were great .. and am totally hooked to it! Worth a watch! I'm definitely going back to watch it!!
