If grapevine is to be believed, TV show "Desh Ki Beti Nandini" is likely to go off air soon. The reason is yet to be disclosed.
After a short run of just five months, the Sony Entertainment Television show will go off air in April, said a source from the show's set.
The reason behind the show's closure and anything about a replacing show is not known yet, the source added.
Desh Ki Beti Nandini on Sony TV is a political drama which went on air in October 2013 with Keerti Nagpure and Rafi Malik in the lead role.

The promos looked promising but unfortunately the script and direction was very weak. All the expectation went in vain after watching the saas bahu saga. Did not found the chemistry between the leads at all. But must say keerti was doing good job. And hv improve alot. Still missing u as Siddhi Kunal Chopra. All the best keerti for ur future projects. Hope to see u in better roles.

The show started with a big promise, but the production has not delivered. Poor direction, weak script. Watched only for Keerti Nagpure!!! Still looking forward for real politics tracks.

I don't want that nandini show go-off air. The concept of the show was good. There was a lot of scope to carry forward a real political tracks alongwith a current issues. They can cash the full advantage of current situation of India. But its a totally failures of poor story, production and direction. No hearttouching, no reality base tracks. Totally a wrongly executed. But the efforts of DKBN's team ( actor and actress) was good. If the show go-off then CV should make correction of their mistake and do justice in the remaining time to gain popularity. Will look forward to seeing Keerti Nagpure in another show. she is very talented and I watched Nandini for her only.

Lets wait and see what the channel and PH have to say about this. If the news is true and its going off air, i would like to wish the entire team all the best for the future projects. Will look forward to seeing Keerti Nagpure in another show. she is very talented and I watched Nandini for her.
