"I would like to play a Punjabi Kudi in future" : Nikita Sharma

Pretty and popular actress Nikita Sharma who rose to fame after portraying Antara in Life Ok's popular show Do Dil Ek Jaan is currently enjoying her break and learning new things to get herself well prepared for her next project. TellyBuzz spoke to the actress to find out more about what's keeping her busy these days and about her future projects.

Talking about how she is spending her break time these days, Nikita says, "Right now I am just chilling and looking more into my fitness by working out and spending time with my friends and family. Along with this, I have joined dancing classes for the first time. I am learning Bollywood dance style and preparing myself well for my next project by learning dance and it's so much fun to dance. When I came to Mumbai, I got Do Dil Ek Jaan as my first project in a very short span of time so I didn't get time to discover Mumbai. So, now I am discovering Mumbai with my friends and visiting new places. Everything is new for me here because during my show, I just used to travel to Film City from my home and nowhere else."  

So, as the pretty girl is learning to dance do we have any chance to see her taking part in any dance reality show? Nikita replied, "You never know (chuckles)! If I get a new dance related show then I would definitely love to take part in it. I love to dance because I feel free and fresh after dancing. Dancing, working out and eating healthy makes a person fit and doing these things are a part of my daily routine. If I skip any of these, then I feel that something is missing."  

When asked Nikita about the role she would like to portray in future, she said, "I would love to do Antara once again because it's very close to my heart. I would like to play a Punjabi kudi because that will be me. I am getting good offers but as IPL will be coming soon, so many shows have been kept on hold so I think after this IPL will get over, something will definitely be materialized."  

The chemistry of Ayaz Ahmed and Nikita gained immense popularity and even after the show ended, fans still cherish their onscreen and off-screen memories and keep messaging them asking to be back together in a new show. When we asked Nikita about it, she said, "That's great! We worked hard on our characters and a result; those characters have made a place in people's heart which matters a lot for an actor. I hope that we both will be working together in a new show. It feels great to see that even after the show has ended, they keep on sending gifts, their messages, tweets and ask us to comeback soon. It's a big thing for me that they love me so much; not only as Antara but as Nikita too. I love them for loving me like this."  

"This time, I will come back with a bang with something new and something different from Antara and I know that my fans will like it because they love me," concludes Nikita giving message for her fans.
