Its family time for Kunwar Amar and Charlie Chauhan

TV's cute looking couple Kunwar Amarjeet Singh and Charlie Chauhan who were seen in Star Plus' dance reality show Nach Baliye 5 are spending their quality time with their families. As these TV stars remain away from their families to pursue their careers, thus this couple is utilizing their time meeting their relatives and family members.

Kunwar Amar who is liked by the viewers for portraying the character of Rey in Channel V's Dil Dostii Dance was recently awarded a honorable 'Gaurav of Punjab' award by the Inspector General of Mumbai Police. The actor was extremely overwhelmed and gratified on receiving the the award. While at this joyous moment his lady love was missing to congratulate her boyfriend however, his sister attended the award ceremony. An elated Amar was quite happy to see his sister at this proud moment.

Well we wonder where was Charlie during Amar's felicitation ceremony. Here is the answer... Charlie had gone to Shimla at her native place to spend time with her family. We called up Charlie to know more about her experience during her stay at Shimla. Talking about the same Charlie said, "I am very happy to meet my family after 1 and a half year. I have given a surprise to my father with my surprise visit and he was so happy to see me after a long time. We went out to the malls and had a fun time at home. My brother who stays at Bangalore is also coming to Shimla to meet me and my father has already taken an off to be with me. We are planning to go to our farm house and stay there for couple of days. No doubt I miss Amar and  I also missed his award function. Actually wouldn't have missed it but we were not aware about the dates. But I called up Amar and gave my best wishes to him and the best part was that he was very happy as her sister was with him. When I saw his picture he was blushing and his cheeks were red (laughs) so that made me happy, though I am not with him still he is very happy as his family is with him. Actually speaking for both of us family is our priority. Now I will give Amar surprise by not informing him about when I am coming back and then will take him for the dinner."

Kunwar Amar is not only a talented actor but also a fabulous dancer. As he is enjoying his cloud nine moment at present and since his sister had accompanied him at the award ceremony, we asked Amar to know more about his feeling on meeting his sister and he excitedly said," I was so happy when my sister told me that she is coming to meet me as I haven't met her from past 1 year. And coincidentally as soon as she landed in Mumbai I got a call from Punjab Association that they want to honor me with an award, it was like a double treat for me. I forced her to come along with me for my felicitation award ceremony but she was hesitating because she was feeling shy. But she accompanied me and I was so happy that somebody from family had come to Mumbai for the first time to meet me and it added to my happiness. When I received the award my sister felt so proud of me. Usually I go to meet my family member but they haven't come to Mumbai. Though Charlie was not there, my sister was there with me. For both of us I and Charlie our first priority is our parents. Charlie Chauhan has a different place in my life and my family has different but both are important in my life.

Like a caring brother, Kunwar Amar also roamed around the city with his sister who had visited for the very first time, "As my sister had visited Mumbai for the first time, I took her to various places in Mumbai like Gateway of India, Marine Drive and many more. I took her for shopping and when people used to come to me for clicking pictures, I used to be surrounded by them and looking at that she felt so proud and happy that her brother is so famous and people love him. She told me that I am blessed and advised me to be good to everyone. Today she is going and I couldn't go to see her off her due to my shooting. But I will miss her a lot."
