"I relate myself with the character of Aashi" - Hally Shah

Petite and docile Hally Shah who was seen in Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi on Zee TV has bagged a lead role in an upcoming show by Miloni Productions Khushiyon Ki Gullakh Aashi on soon to be launched channel Sony Pal. The story has a very unique concept where a girl adopts parents to get parental love.

We got in touch with Hally to know more about her character and how did she bag the role.

When asked Hally about how did she bag the title role in the show Khushiyon Ki Gullakh Aashi she says, "When I was in Ahemdabad and I got a call from the production house and they told me to come for a look test. I went for my look test and I was immediately finalized, they didn't trouble me much because what happens is there is a long procedure for any show to finalize the cast but here aisa kuch nahi hua and I was finalized. As I have acted in Gulaal on Star Plus, Khelti Hai Zindagi Aankh Micholi where I replaced Ulka Gupta, the creative of the show had my number and so he called me for the audition. This is how I was called and got selected for Khushiyon Ki Gullakh Aashi."

Elaborating on her characters Hally says, "I am playing the character of Aashi and who is always full of life, full of energy and very restless. She cannot sit without doing something, she keeps on doing some or the other activity. She speaks a lot and tries to keep everybody happy. She has a best friend and his name is Sahil (Abhishek Sharma) in the show with whom she shares everything and vice a versa. They are like best buddies."

The concept of the show is very motivating and distinct. Expanding it further Hally says, "Basically the concept of the show is that Aashi's parents have no time for her as they are always busy with their work. Like all other parents she too gets all the love and warmth from her parents so she always misses their strict behavior. Though being loved and pampered she feels void during her birthdays as her parents wish her on the phone. So she thinks that if we can adopt pets, kids then why not parents as there is no such hard and fast rule and law that we can't adopt parents. She adopts parents who want a child's love and in return they love the child. This is the basic concept of our show and for the remaining story you will need to watch the show."

We ask her that does she relate herself with the character of Aashi or not she avers, "I relate myself with the character of Aashi but not completely because I am not that much naughty and not even masti khor in real. I am a little decent person and prefer to  talk less. I am very moody so it depends upon my mood."
