Yuva is based on youngsters who showcase thier strength to bring a change in society - Lavin Gothi

The very talented Lavin Gothi who was seen in shows like V Best Friends Forever?, Bade Acche Lagte Hai and  Dil Dostii Dance, is busy these days and is geared up to shine on the big screen.

Yes! Lavin is all set to make way in films and is excited to work with Dhanraj Productions. We  got in touch with the actor to know more about his film, character and much more in conversation with TellyBuzz.

Elaborating about his new project Lavin excitedly says, "Yes I am doing a film which is produced by Dhanraj Productions. It will be directed by a very well known director of industry Jasbir Bhatti and the movie is titled as Yuva. This movie is based on youth and showcases their strength to bring a change in the society. It is about those youngsters who are careless about their future but a sudden incident changes their life and they start working towards the betterment of the society."

So what is his role in the movie? "I am playing a teenager who is studying in 11th Std. and hails from a small village. Later he travels to a city in a tragic situation and meets some friends and  they start working towards bringing a revolution."  

Lavin is fortunate to work with noted actors and is very delighted to play one of the leads, "I very excited to play one of the leads in this movie. It feels great to work with senior actors like Jimmy Shergill, Om Puri, Sanjay Mishra etc."

It seems that portraying a character of a youngster was quite challenging for him as he had to make sure that he did justice to his character as Lavin says, "Yes it was very challenging, I really worked hard to do justice to the character. I had to tan my skin to suit the character, also I have worked on my body language so the audience will get to see my different avatar in this movie. This is something I have never done before so I am quite excited for this."  

Lastly Lavin concludes by conveying a heart warming message to his fans, "I love them, I think its because of their blessings that I have got this project. I know my fans have been waiting ftom a long time to watch me on the small screen but soon I will be entertaining you on the big screen."
