"Bappa gives me positive energy"- Anuj Sachdeva

Ganesh Utsav has begun with zeal and zest, we all are energized with the beginning of this festival. Actors are also rejoicing and excited for the festival. TellyBuzz got in touch with one such actor Anuj Sachdeva who was last seen in Sony TV's Chhanchhan who has started celebrating the festival for the first time and welcomed Lord Ganesh warmly.

What has been the purpose of celebrating Ganesh Utsav? Anuj says, "I had this plan long back that I want to celebrate the festival when I own a house and yeah this time I celebrated it by bringing the idol for one and a half day."

Talking about the idea of celebrating this festival Anuj says, "I think it gives you a positive energy and it is a festival of being together. For me it is similar to that of Diwali as during the festival you meet all relatives and friends and during Ganpati also we meet our relatives. It is said that whenever you start a new work you take bappa's name and then you proceed, he is the Vighanharta who makes us free from the envy. So my idea about the festival is to meet all your friends, relatives and surround yourself with positive energy."

How are you attached with Lord Ganesha? he says " Lord Ganesh has always supported me to cross all the  obstacles of my career. I preach Siddhivinayak. I am very attached to him and when you keep the idol at your home and you preach him you are emotionally attached. I made Rajma and Kheer, I myself was involved in making the arrangements. So its quite sad to see him immersing but will wait for the next year."
