"I am excited to learn kathak from a legendary dancer Sitara Devi" - Ridhi Dogra Vashisth

Talented Ridhi Dogra Vashisth last seen in Life OK's show Savitri is very much excited these days. The actress is taking keen interest  in learning Kathak for the first time in her life from the famous and most revered dancer Sitara Devi.

Ridhi has been a part of a dance based reality show Nach Baliye season 6 on Star Plus which inspired the actress to enhance her dancing skills better and so she decided to take keen interest in learning Kathak an Indian classical form.

Tellybuzz got in touch with Ridhi Dogra Vashisth to know about her new interest and she says, "I am very much excited. On my first day to class, they tied a dhaga on my wrist which was blessed by Sitara Devi herself and I am feeling so lucky to learn dance from such a dancer who is that acclaimed and immaculate. I am excited to learn Kathak as I get to learn an old classical  from the original Sitara Devi's institute and not any other formed class. On my first day I met all and went through the details about the dance form and spent time on knowing about Kathak."

What made her learn Kathak dance form? Ridhi says, "Since the time I did Nach Baliye season 6, it was in my mind to learn Kathak and now as I am not doing any show, I felt this would be the perfect time to spend it into learning such a great dance form. And till the time I take up another show I would happily spending my time in learning Kathak and would love to do masters in the same."
