The Bike ride that helped overcome fear Ruccha Gujrati

The sets of Bhabhi has been lit up as it is a ‘Season of Marriage and Rituals’. In the coming week, the Lavish Sangeet Ceremony of Rishika will be shown. Recently the unit shot for the half an hour Special Sangeet Ceremony where the entire cast and crew with celebrity guests were present. On the D-Day of the shoot, Ruccha Gujrati’s car broke down when she had to reach the sets on time for the shoot.

Ruccha went thro' total chaos filled with fear and anxiety before she finally made it to the sets.. Here is Ruccha sharing her memorable day with our reporter Hiral. “I was stuck in Kandivili and I had to reach the sets in the next 20 minutes. As we were shooting the special episode, I had to be on time and did not want to be late. I wanted to be professional, I did not want to be the reason for the delay in shoot. My car would not start and I called the Production House. They offered to send me a car, but I knew that was out of question, because the car would not reach to where I was quickly, owing to heavy traffic. As I was caught in a dilemma, one of the production guys came with a bike to pick me up. I was completely scared as I hate bikes and honestly am very sacred of them. Eversince I was a kid, I would never sit on a bike. But I was in a Catch-22 situation where I had to reach the shoot spot soon. So I went ahead and sat on the bike. The entire team was praying for me and I shut my eyes tightly and kept my fingers crossed, all thro the bike ride. (laughs) Believe me, I reached the sets in just 15 minutes.. can you beat this? Above all, I am glad today that I am over the Phobia of Bikes. This was one thing I was so scared about in life, but today I have overcome it.”, says a more confident Ruccha. On asked whether she would own a bike in future, Ruccha answered, “Who knows, maybe bikes are more convenient for Mumbai. But I still need to learn to drive..”

Well, its really scary to see a person on a bike closing eyes and keeping fingers crossed, isn’t it? But the end of the day, as the saying, ‘Necessity is the Mother of Invention’ goes, what really matters is that Ruccha’s confidence level has risen and she will probably never ever fear to go on a bike ride again… So can we say, All's Well that Ends Well, Ruccha?
