The TV show not only turns into reality the dream of a young child between the age group of 10 to 16 yrs, but also his/her Mother, who grooms the child into becoming an entertainer. This musical talent hunt sees 12 boys and girls battle it out under the watchful eyes of experts, as they begin their artistic career, turn their dream of making a debut into the world of entertainment.
The participants and their Mothers, who act as managers / mentors, compete against other Mother-Child pairs to win the title. The Mom grooms, supports and manages her child - where she is involved in at every stage of the performance - song selection, rehearsals, choreography, costumes - through the series and takes onus for the performance of her ward. Apart from this Herculean task, the mother needs to perform daredevil stunts to prove her love for her child.
The show has a Jury panel of 3 memebers composed of professionals from the entertainment industry who rate the participant based on their performance, talent, skills and grooming. The house where the Mother-Kid Jodis are put up is the space where the entire performance for the Gala is concocted by the duo. We see them work it out at the rehearsals with the Choreographers, costume trials with the stylists and counseling sessions with a Counselor. This is the zone where we get an insight into each relationship.
The show explores the wonders of the mother - child relationship and pays a musical tribute to this beautiful bond.
